Healthy Homemade Granola Recipe

Healthy Homemade Granola Recipe, Oh sooo good!!  This is a favorite in our house.  My father is a Granola lover.  When he smells this tasty recipe being made I know I’ll have a friend in the kitchen.  It also makes a great gift with a little festive packaging. Oh, and did I mention, this Healthy Homemade Granola Recipe is a cinch to make.  It’s a one bowl recipe and is a great dish to make with kids to help them learn to cook!

I have always had a love for granola.  I can remember getting home from school and smelling the sweet warm vanilla wafting through the air.  It was great as a snack or breakfast cereal and still is.  Sometimes I will eat it as a dessert by sprinkling on some ice cream.

Besides the fact that this recipe is home made and full of love, I feel this granola is a little healthier as it has no processed sugar, only naturally occurring maple syrup.

Let’s get Cookin’

Bring out the Butter (butter makes everything better!).  However, if you’re vegan, use 1 cup of coconut oil for very similar results.

Ahh, time for those wrinkled grapes.  Our good friend, the risen.  I soak them during the baking time so they’re nice and plump.
