Add more flour to the top of the dough. Knead the dough a few times

Time for those juicy raisins. Knead the raisins in. ( I knead the raisins in so they don’t get chopped up in the food processor.) Flour hands and shape into a round.

With a flour covered knife, slice a cross in the bread (the dough will still be sticky and the flour on the knife will allow you to cut rather than tear.).  According to Irish tradition, these cuts are to let the fairies out.  Works for me, I don’t want to be eating any fairies!

Place in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. The bread will be done when it is golden brown.

Make sure to add some butter on top and be prepared to do an Irish jig after you take a bite.
