This is one of my favorite salads, it has such a fresh taste and combines some of my most loved flavors. With the Feta cheese addition, the caprice salad has a great salty tangy taste. This very simple recipe is a great side dish or works well on toast as an open faced sandwich.
I am a big fan of fresh basil. It has great health benefits! It is rich in vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C, magnesium, iron, potassium, and calcium. It’s considered a ‘Kings Spice’.
The Simple Feta Cheese Caprice Salad is just so yummy I think I could eat it every day!! By the way, this is another recipe that is great for young aspiring chefs.

I like to cut the basil by stacking the leaves, rolling them, and slicing them like a sushi roll
As you can see you get long ribbons wich I find easier to dice
It’s a simple thing but I’ve found little tricks like this improve speed and accuracy
To break up the feta Cheese I stick a fork in and rotate it so that it will crumble
Put all your ingredients together and add balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and salt to taste.
Also, this recipe seems to get better if you allow it to marinate in the fridge for about an hour.
